Awesome lunch spot. Reasonably quick for MTO food. Friendly Staff. Chicken Pesto Wrap would be my suggestion.

Roly Poly has friendly service, good wraps, 40 varieties to be exact, great flavors and good value. Good for quick bit during lunch hour. Also has limited out door seating.

Thursday - May 16, 2013 - 1:30 pm The lower portion of the pamphlet proudly declares "serving sandwich lovers since 1997". Frankly, I never heard of Roly Poly despite the bold statement. Nevertheless, I was eager to sample the fare. An employee indicated that Roly Poly opened about three weeks ago. Inside is a pleasant looking restaurant with adequately spaced tables. You have the option of eating at the tables located outside. I did not see a wait staff. It appears the only method of ordering is at the counter. I ordered the 6" cold rolled vegetarian wrap #3 - Jack and Swiss cheese, leaf lettuce, plum tomatoes, avocado, carrots, cucumber, green pepper, mushrooms, baby spinach, alfalfa sprouts, and lite dill dressing for $3.95. The crunch of the leaf lettuce was delightful but the wrap was under seasoned. Unless you are familiar with the area, you can easily drive past Roly Poly. The pamphlet notates "Next to Citibank" however, you'll have to PASS Citibank then around a curving Presidential blvd. Roly Poly will be on the right.

Very impressed! We happened upon this place for a quick bite between appts. Great selection of wraps, hot or cold, 6" or 12"; plus homemade soups, 3 or 4 daily from a selection of 8? soups in their rotation plus salads! Happy employee at register offered us generous tastes of their soups, and explained the menu. They can customize ANYTHING to your liking, and we didn't see anything about additional charges. Unusual & healthy choices too: nuts, sprouts, avocado, craisins, all on any of three different tortlla flavors. Great for take out. Clean, fast, & cheery. That's everything I want for fresh food, fast instead of 'fast food'. The smoked turkey, bacon, cheese, avocado, spinach, tomato & scallion "bolo' i ordered hot, was perfect! They have a way of keeping the wrap wrapped! No seam, no mess! Seriously, perfect for what we wanted & needed at the time.

It's a decent lunch option in the office park wasteland of Bala Cynwyd, where you have to drive just to cross the street. They've got a good variety of wraps, both cold and hot. They come in two sizes, half and full, which is tricky because half often isn't quite enough, but full is a bit too much. I got one of the daily specials, which involved turkey, honey mustard, and apple, and was pretty good.

For those days where you've been to Honeygrow/Corner Bakery/Pot Belly too many times than you'd like to admit, want something lighter/cheaper, or aren't in the mood for Mexican this is a solid choice. Granted I've only been once (the place has only been open for like a week and still smells like construction) but I will be back. Got a full size and it was cheaper than other area lunch options ( less than $7), made quickly by a friendly staff and the menu had a bunch of other stuff I'll got back and try. Even the full size was a bit light but likely enough for most people who aren't 6'3" men like myself. Could see parking being an issue here if it gets popular, but was fine the day I came. Plus I think the name is stupid, probably lost a star for that alone. No self-respecting man should ever say Roly Poly. Gonna just call it RP from now on with my office bros.

I love this place. I probably come here too often. But this restaurant stands out to me most because they offer GF wraps. And it's probably the only place around here I can have my sandwich the way everyone else does. I've never had a bad experience with the food or the staff. It's a nice little place for a quick, simple and cheap lunch. I usually order online too before I go on break. That way by the time I get there it's ready for me. That's another thing, they always have my sandwich ready on time. Great place!

Wraps for days! This place is bomb, clean, has TVs, and a wide selection of wraps, salads and soups. I go at least once a week. Love it!

After a couple scouting visits I feel confident giving this place a good review. It's a very good, borderline great office park breakfast/lunch/early dinner spot. My favorite order is the #55 chicken pesto (hold the onion). Delish. The idea of a hot pressed rolled wrap has some crossover with a quesadilla. It's like a quesadilla with non mexican food ingredients if that makes sense. Similar for breakfast, eggs and cheese in a hot wrap that's basically a breakfast burrito. Note that they stop serving breakfast at 11am. There's three tvs, tuned into sports channels (caught part of the World Cup today), and there's a frequent buyer program, by 10 wraps get the 11th free. There are vegetarian options and also good choices for calorie counters. They also do soups, salads, and catering. In terms of extras there are drinks, chips, cookies, brownies and danishes. Overall it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Another place to add the resume of eateries along City Line ave. this place has the market cornered on wraps partially because it specializes in them while Corner Bakery, Jimmy Johns, and Potbelly duke it out on the sandwich front. This place has an extensive menu and is a fresh change of place from the other local grub stops.

Went to Roly Poly for the first time today. I ordered a Hot Pressed sandwich. When they say "pressed", they really mean it! It's a flattened, toasted sandwich with various ingredients inside of it. I got a #52, which is a Hickory Chicken with cheddar cheese, onions, bacon, mushrooms and bbq sauce, with a side of ranch dressing. Also got some pasta salad, chips, and a brownie. The sandwich was pretty good. Like I said, it's very flat, so it's kind of like a panini or quesadilla but with different ingredients. I was glad I got a whole instead of half a sandwich. I'm not sure if half would fill me up. Roly Poly also has Maryland Crab Soup (but they were out of it today), and different kinds of salads. I can see this being one of my go-to spots if they are open on nights and weekends because they do have local delivery.

I popped in here for lunch and ordered the Pesto Chicken, and it was fantastic! Customer service was great too as they came to the table and refilled my beverage. I will definitely be back. Great quick lunch spot, I heard they cater too...

I've been to Roly Poly in Bala three times now and will likely return - partially because of the convenience of working in the same building. I strongly suggest taking a look at their menu before going in to order as they try to keep the line moving during the busy lunch rush. It is often busy (and very loud) in the restaurant during lunch. So it is sometimes difficult to hear them call your name on the loudspeaker when your order is up. Also, it can sometimes take a little while to get your food if they are very busy. I ordered online for the first time today and it made the process SO much easier and quicker. I highly recommend ordering online if you don't want to wait. Their prices can't be beat. As for the food: They have a decent selection of wraps which can be served cold or hot pressed. I like the "Roll Your Own" option which allows you to get your sandwich built to order. The food itself is just ok. It's not great but I wouldn't say it is terrible either - especially for the price. I've found some of their items - like the EggRoly - lack seasoning/flavor. Overall, it's a convenient, affordable option for lunch in Bala Cynwyd.

The Bala Cynwyd area is seriously struggling for some affordable, tasty lunch options considering City Ave is basically one office complex on top of another full of hungry professionals. Roly Poly is a welcome addition with many delicious options. I was only really looking at the hot pressed wraps, but the cashier recommended the cold rolled Basil Cashew Chicken salad wrap for next time. Will do.

The people, the ambiance, the food...Roly Poly is amazing on all fronts! If you're looking for a casual sandwich lunch or dinner, this is the place. The staff is friendly and helpful, sandwiches are big and reasonably priced, and the restaurant is a great place to read or just hang out. After a couple visits, I'm hooked on Roly Poly!

Had a delicious lunch at Roly Poly today. We have been there a few times now....mostly for dinner. The place is always spotlessly clean and the employees are always helpful and friendly. The 2 different wraps we ordered we delicious and a great value for the money. The veggies, the wrap it self and the meat inside my son's were are fresh and delicious. Definitely put it on your to try list!

I have been using Roly Poly at their NJ location for several years as my go-to reliable catering source for work, and personal functions. I'm psyched about their new location in Bryn Mawr so that I can use their catering for more of my PA clients! Not only are they reliable, fast, and professional, their wraps are always a hit, pleasing every crowd! They even can make any sandwich with a gluten free wrap. Their catering salads are second to none. Not many places can deliver on all important areas. I have used the typical panera bread-type catering in the past and Roly Poly blows them out of the water on quality ingredients, freshness, and cost...all with happy smiling faces. They are not your typical wrap place at all but much more. My favorites are the basil cashew chicken, thai hot tuna, and nut & honey (all cold sandwiches for catering).
